Sessions are available in person in Darwin and online via telehealth. The following information outlines consultation fees, rebates, cancellations and privacy considerations.
Consultation Fees
INDIVIDUAL/ Private fee
$220 ($242.00 inclusive of GST).
From January 2020 to February 2025, the individual fee was maintained at $200 ($220 inclusive of GST) to support accessibility to services. In March 2025, the fee was modestly increased to $220 ($242 inclusive of GST) to continue supporting accessibility.
STANDARD / Organisational Fee
$300 ($330 inclusive of GST)
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The Psychotherapy Practice is a provider for:
- Northern Territory Government (NTG)
- Northern Territory Police Force (NTPF)
- Northern Territory Fire and Emergency Services (NTFES)
Eligible employees and family members may access psychotherapy services through their EAP program.

Please enquire directly with your health fund regarding rebate eligibility and amounts.
Unfortunately, Medicare Mental Health Plan rebates are not available.
Cancellations
Confirmed appointments are reserved specifically for you.
At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling so that the appointment may be offered to another client.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend a scheduled appointment, incur the full consultation fee.
Privacy
All personal information remains confidential and will not be released without your consent.
Exceptions include:
- Circumstances where disclosure is required by law or mandatory reporting obligations apply.
- Situations involving risk of harm to yourself or another person.
